Lori Parker JD, MSSA, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ~ licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and her Juris Doctor and Master of Science in Social Administration (with a concentration in Children, Youth and Families) degrees from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She has developed and taught masters level social work courses in family therapy and legal issues in social work. Lori is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and Ohio State Bar Association. She also volunteers for the March of Dimes.
Lori is currently in private practice at AZCounseling, PLLC in Scottsdale, Arizona. She works with children, adolescents, and adults. Her expertise includes: Mood Disorders (Depression and Anxiety), Stress Management, Adjustment Disorders, Relationship Issues, Child and Adolescent Emotional and Behavioral Issues, Parenting Issues, Women’s Issues, and Personal Growth & Development Coaching. Lori is trained in Multisystemic Therapy and has extensive experience working with juvenile delinquents, victims of child abuse and neglect, and victims of domestic violence. Lori also has training and experience in several other therapeutic models including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Play Therapy, and Art Therapy. Lori works with her clients to develop a treatment plan that utilizes the modalities of therapy best suited for the individual’s, couple’s and/or family’s needs based on a strengths based approach.back to list
